Who wouldn't take a pill to make them look younger so that they could go back to high school, especially when they are getting paid to do it. ReLife: Kanketsu-hen (Completion) picks up where season one ended, following test subjects 001 Chizuru Hishiro and 002 Arata Kaizaki as they complete the school year.
The story picks up shortly before summer break of the first season. The focus of the story is more centered on Chizuru and Arata and the impending end of their ReLifes. The final 4 episodes miss the mark, as far as matching some of the more comedic moments in season 1, although it's difficult to think about ReLife without the smile scene. They set the bar pretty high there.
The clip was funny enough that they kept it in the live action movie as well. We were disappointed that they didn't have a complete full season, which makes the story seemed rushed. The anime stays true to form as class 3-3 finish the school year and graduate. It remains an anime to watch with your significant other. As with the first season, kanketsu-hen is an emotionally moving story. We rate ReLife (in it's entirety) 4 out of 5.
